Terms of Service

These terms govern use of Clock Harbor by subscribing companies and the people they authorize to use the service.

Using Clock Harbor

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials secure, and use the service only for lawful workplace operations. Company owners control membership, roles, work rules, schedules, and access to company records. Users may not interfere with the service, bypass access controls, or submit fraudulent time or location information.

Employer responsibilities

Clock Harbor is a recordkeeping and workflow tool, not legal, tax, payroll, or human-resources advice. Each company is responsible for wage-and-hour compliance, notices and consent, timecard review, payroll decisions, retention duties, employee classification, scheduling rules, and the accuracy of exported data.

Trials, subscriptions, and billing

Eligible companies may receive one 14-day Pro trial backed by a payment card. Paid plans renew automatically until canceled through the billing portal. Published prices, included people and locations, add-ons, and billing intervals are shown before checkout. After expiration or cancellation, access may become read-only. Stripe processes payments and provides receipts.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Clock Harbor reliable, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed. Features may change as the service improves. We may suspend access to protect users, prevent misuse, comply with law, address nonpayment, or preserve system security.

Company data and account closure

Companies retain responsibility for their business records and should download required reports. Account deletion and subscription cancellation are separate actions. Some records may be retained for legal obligations, disputes, security, backups, or the stated operational retention period.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties that it will meet every business or regulatory need. Clock Harbor is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for the service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
